Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai laid the foundation for the Chitrotpala International Film City and Tribal and Cultural Convention Centre in Naya Raipur on January 24, 2026.
The 95-acre first phase, backed by a Rs 150 crore state investment and supported by the Ministry of Tourism, aims to create a full-service film and cultural hub with facilities including a hotel, convention center, exhibition space, and helipad.
Developed by Rajnandini Entertainment Ltd and Indradeep Infra Ltd, the project seeks to boost local artisans, tribal communities, and youth employment while attracting major film productions.
Completion is expected in about two years, with future investments of Rs 250–300 crore planned.
