Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu urged banks to expand credit to MSMEs, farmers, and renewable energy projects during State Level Bankers’ Committee meetings in Amaravati on January 23, 2026.
He highlighted that ₹49,000 crore in loans had been rescheduled, saving ₹1,108 crore, and emphasized inclusive growth by supporting enterprises led by SC, ST, and BC communities.
The state aims to develop Amaravati as a financial hub, with foundations laid for 15 banks, while promoting digital reforms, women entrepreneurs, and innovation hubs.
