West Coast Eagles midfielder Tyler Brockman, 23, faces a grievous bodily harm charge after a fight in Geraldton left a teen with a broken jaw.
West Coast Eagles midfielder Tyler Brockman, 23, has been charged with grievous bodily harm following an alleged fight in Drummond Cove, Geraldton, on December 28 around 3:50 a.m. Police say Brockman, reportedly shirtless, was involved in an altercation outside a residence with two other men, resulting in serious, non-life-threatening injuries—including a broken jaw—to a teenage victim.
A mobile phone video captured the incident.
Brockman faces one count of grievous bodily harm and is scheduled to appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court on February 19.
The Eagles confirmed they’ve informed the AFL and are unable to comment further as the case is ongoing.
Brockman is currently training with the team and is out of contract at season’s end.
He previously played 26 games for Hawthorn after being drafted 46th in 2020 and has played 30 games for the Eagles.
