Trump was temporarily flown on a smaller 757 due to an electrical issue, but the Air Force confirmed a new Air Force One is still expected by summer 2026, despite earlier delays pushing the original delivery to mid-2028.
In the meantime, a 13-year-old Boeing 747 donated by Qatar remains in use, undergoing major retrofits.
