San Antonio is opening six overnight resilience hubs from Saturday, Jan. 24, through Monday, Jan. 26, to shelter residents during a severe cold front. The hubs, located at community and senior centers, provide warmth, power, charging stations, Wi-Fi, and pet kennels. City and county shelters, including those at churches and community sites, are open with pets allowed. Additional temporary shelters are available through partners like Haven for Hope and the Salvation Army. Residents are urged to bring supplies, conserve energy, and avoid travel.
