A North Wales judge sentenced members of a family-run drug gang led by Lee Rigby, 42, to nearly 50 years in prison, calling the operation a "shambles" orchestrated by a "cruel bully" who exploited relatives, including his son Wesley, 21.
The gang, which aimed to distribute nine kilograms of cocaine, ketamine, and cannabis, was dismantled by North Wales Police through "Operation Zero," a 12-month investigation using surveillance and listening devices.
Rigby, a cockle harvester with prior convictions, used profits from drug sales to buy property, boats, and vehicles, including during trips to Thailand.
Other members, including his half-brother Daniel Carroll and associate Mark Poh, played key roles in financing, packaging, and supplying drugs.
Eleven individuals were sentenced, with three women receiving community orders.
Authorities emphasized the case as a major disruption of organized crime and a warning against drug trafficking.
