Kids 6–17 can join a free gardening and nature club in Ripley, starting Feb. 21, with a $5 fee.
The Ripley and District Horticulture Society’s “For Our Youth” club is accepting registrations for its 2026 season, inviting children ages six to 17 to join monthly Saturday activities from February to October.
Events include gardening, cooking, nature walks, crafts, and themed outings like frog hunting and apple picking, with a focus on environmental learning and community.
The club’s 2026 theme is “Cultivating Food and Friendship,” and registration is open now with a $5 annual fee.
The first meeting is February 21 at the Now Playing Family Centre in Kincardine, featuring a craft and indoor play.
Adult and teen volunteers are also needed.
