The Supreme Court of India has issued a notice to the Delhi government in response to a curative petition filed by Mohammad Arif, a death-row convict linked to the 2000 Red Fort attack that killed three Indian Army personnel.
Arif, a Lashkar-e-Taiba operative also known as Ashfaq, was sentenced to death in 2005, with his conviction upheld by higher courts in 2007 and 2011.
