Delhi Police have filed a FIR against Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the leader of the banned Sikhs for Justice group, for allegedly threatening to disrupt peace in Delhi ahead of Republic Day 2026.
The case, filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, stems from a video Pannun posted claiming that his group had placed pro-Khalistan posters in Rohini and Dabri, but police found no evidence.
Authorities also reported a separate incident in which SFJ members attempted to replace India's flag at the embassy in Zagreb, Croatia, prompting criticism from India's Ministry of External Affairs.
