A Delhi court acquitted Arvind Kejriwal and MLA Amanatullah Khan over flawed ED summonses, citing improper service.
A Delhi court has acquitted former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in two cases over alleged non-compliance with Enforcement Directorate (ED) summonses related to the 2021-22 Delhi Excise Policy.
The court ruled that the ED failed to prove the summonses were properly served, stating email delivery did not meet legal requirements under the PMLA and CrPC.
It also acquitted AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan in one case and discharged him in another linked to the Waqf Board probe.
The decision addresses only the procedural validity of the summonses, not the broader allegations in the ongoing investigation.
