Chery Australia confirms the 2026 C5 Hybrid SUV will launch in mid-2026, joining its C5 and E5 models.
The full hybrid features a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine and electric motor, delivering 150kW of power, a claimed 1000km range, and 0-100km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds.
It includes a redesigned front end, 18-inch alloys, LED lighting, dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and advanced safety features.
In the UK, it starts at $50,800 and goes up to $57,700, while Australian pricing is expected to be lower.
It will compete with the Nissan Qashqai e-Power, Hyundai Kona Hybrid, and Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid.
