Queen Camilla visited Maggie’s Cheltenham centre to mark its 30th anniversary, meeting cancer patients, staff, and supporters including young survivor Caitlyn Warrington.
She unveiled a portrait of herself by artist Eileen Hogan, praised the charity’s founder Maggie Keswick Jencks, and emphasized the importance of emotional support and a comforting environment for those facing cancer.

Maggie’s, founded in 1996, provides free, drop-in psychological, emotional, and practical support across 27 UK centres.
The Queen, president since 2008, has visited 18 of them.
Both the King and Princess of Wales, diagnosed in 2024, have seen health improvements, with Kate entering remission in early 2025.
