A new three-year deal between St. Peter’s Health Partners and CDPHP prevents cost hikes for 112,000 members after contract talks resolved reimbursement disputes.
St. Peter’s Health Partners and CDPHP have reached a three-year agreement in principle, ensuring uninterrupted access to St. Peter’s services for about 112,000 CDPHP members in the Capital Region.
The deal, finalized on January 21, 2026, prevents members from facing higher out-of-network costs after the previous contract expired.
Disputes over reimbursement rates, driven by rising operational costs and low Medicaid payments, were resolved during a state-mandated 60-day cooling-off period.
CDPHP called the agreement fair and sustainable, while St. Peter’s emphasized the importance of collaboration.
Final terms are still being finalized, but members will not incur additional costs.
