A Melbourne woman accused of starting a 2025 fire that critically injured two girls will stand trial.
A 37-year-old woman accused of attempting to murder two young girls in a May 2025 house fire in Melbourne has been committed to stand trial.
The fire left her and the seven- and eight-year-old girls unconscious and hospitalized in critical condition.
She was arrested in July and charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of criminal damage by fire, and one count of reckless conduct endangering life.
She pleaded not guilty in Melbourne Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody.
