Amanda Crane charged with second-degree murder in Tsuut’ina woman’s Jan. 5 death.
A 40-year-old woman, Amanda Audrey Nicole Crane, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 29-year-old Tsuut’ina woman found unresponsive on Wintergreen Road on January 5, 2026.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the death is being treated as suspicious.
Crane, who is not a member of the Tsuut’ina Nation as previously reported, was arrested on January 19 and is scheduled to appear in court on January 27.
The case remains under Tsuut’ina Nation jurisdiction, and authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with information to contact the Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
