A 95-year-old New York man, Frank Zieminski, has broken world records for solving Rubik’s Cubes in the senior category, including a 3x3 solve in 5 minutes and 49 seconds and new records for the 2x2 cube.
He achieved the feats at the Two Buffalo Cube Days event, becoming the oldest person to solve a 3x3 cube.
Zieminski, who started in the 1970s, developed his own method using handwritten notes and joined a local speed cube club where he stands out as the oldest participant.
He continues to train and aims to solve the cube in under five minutes.
