Princess Kate joined a tartan-weaving project in Stirling to support a Scottish charity combating isolation and trauma.
Princess Kate participated in a tartan-weaving demonstration at Radical Weavers in Stirling, contributing the first inch and a half to a 3km-long communal scarf in the Wallace tartan to support Scotland’s Tartan Centre.
The charity uses traditional weaving to combat social isolation and aid trauma recovery.
Kate, with no prior experience, completed the weaving under guidance, while Prince William helped select colors for their tartan, shifting from bright to softer tones.
The visit, described as transformative by the charity, brought significant attention to the small organization, which includes participants such as Ukrainian and Israeli refugees and a blind woman in her 80s.
Kate wore a blue-checked coat by Chris Kerr, woven by Johnstons of Elgin, highlighting British textile heritage.
The event coincided with ongoing legal proceedings involving Prince Harry.
