flag A Nigerian court dropped fraud charges against Ghanaian investors in a property dispute, citing flawed evidence and a lack of merit.

A Nigerian high court has dismissed criminal charges against Ghanaian investors, including Sam Jonah, over the River Park Estate dispute, following the Office of the Attorney General’s discontinuance of the case. The AGF, Lateef Fagbemi, ruled the allegations of forgery and fraud lacked merit, calling the police investigation flawed and inappropriate for a commercial dispute. The court’s decision, based on the AGF’s directive and a prior Special Investigation Panel report, voided the 26-count charge filed in June 2025. Despite the dismissal, the Corporate Affairs Commission has not reversed its actions against the investors’ companies.
