Joanna Hall has been named permanent chief executive of St Margaret’s Hospice Care in Somerset after a formal selection process. She previously served as interim CEO since 2019, bringing over 25 years of experience from the charity and commercial sectors. Hall helped drive four consecutive years of growth in the hospice’s retail operations and led the "Every Moment Counts" appeal, raising £190,000—more than double its goal. She played a key role in shaping the hospice’s five-year strategy and advancing its services. The board praised her compassionate leadership and deep community understanding. Hall said she is committed to supporting staff, strengthening care, and ensuring hospice services remain accessible across Somerset.
