The chosen design includes a traffic signal on the west ramp and a roundabout on the east ramp, along with roadway widenings, turn lanes, bridge improvements, and shared path upgrades. The project, funded by $21.25 million in federal Interstate Maintenance funds, must be completed as designated or the money will revert to the state.
