Two East Texas men were arrested for running a large fentanyl operation, including selling it near a school.
Two Deep East Texas men, Darryl Dewayne Mask, 24, and Adriyel Demille Mask, 41, were arrested on January 14, 2026, in connection with a large-scale fentanyl manufacturing and distribution operation.
Darryl Mask, a convicted felon, was charged with selling fentanyl, including in a meeting at a Lufkin middle school parking lot during school hours, and was found with a .40 caliber pistol and cocaine.
Adriyel Mask was arrested after a search of his home uncovered a commercial-grade pill press, precursor chemicals, finished fentanyl pills, and multiple other drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and a stolen 9mm pistol.
Authorities believe the operation supplied a significant amount of illicit fentanyl in Angelina and Houston counties.
Both men are held in Angelina County Jail, with bond amounts of $57,500 and over $500,000, respectively.
