A Nigerian court has adjourned the trial of Adeniyi Kayode, the 46-year-old driver in a December 29, 2025, crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, to February 25, 2026. Kayode faces four charges, including dangerous driving causing death and operating a vehicle without a valid license. The accident killed Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, two close associates of boxer Anthony Joshua, who sustained minor injuries. The court granted Kayode ₦5 million bail with two sureties. The victims were repatriated to the UK, where a funeral was held on January 4, 2026.
