The federal government has provided a $2.5 million repayable investment to MAKR Group, a Kelowna-based manufacturer, to expand operations and implement Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology.
The funding, part of PacifiCan’s Business Scale-up and Productivity program, will enhance real-time monitoring, improve product quality, and increase efficiency in producing steel components, playground equipment, and water management systems.
