The Detroit Lions are hiring Drew Petzing as their new offensive coordinator, replacing John Morton. Petzing, 38, previously served as offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals under Jonathan Gannon and had prior NFL experience with the Vikings and Browns. He previously coached with current Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson at Boston College. The move continues Johnson’s influence on the Lions’ offensive staff.
