Josh Weikert, a South Jersey professor and Army Reserve officer, will compete in the 2026 Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions after a six-game winning streak in March 2025 that earned $100,202. He donated nearly $12,000 to a scholarship fund honoring his late friend and Marine Corps veteran, Jarrad Weikel. Weikert, who took the show’s online test for over a decade, filmed his episodes at Sony Studios in California. His quarterfinal match is set to air January 23, 2026, as part of the tournament beginning January 19. He joins a legacy of South Jersey Jeopardy! contestants, including Cris Punnullo, a 2022 21-game winner who earned $748,286.
