Malaysian rapper Namewee, 40, pleaded not guilty on January 19, 2026, in Kuala Lumpur Magistrate’s Court to charges of possessing 0.78g of sildenafil and 1.57g of methamphetamine, allegedly found at a hotel in Jalan Conlay on October 22, 2025. The cases stem from a prior arrest involving nine blue pills and positive drug tests for multiple substances, including methamphetamine and ketamine. He was previously acquitted in December 2025 after the prosecution dropped a charge due to negative test results. A new hearing is set for March 5.
