Winnipeg Jets defenseman Colin Miller is out indefinitely after knee surgery following a collision during a game.
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Colin Miller will be sidelined on a week-to-week basis after knee surgery, the team announced.
He injured his knee during a game against the New Jersey Devils when he collided with teammate Arseny Gritsyuk.
Miller, 33, has one assist in 15 games this season and averages 13 minutes and 45 seconds of ice time.
The procedure is similar to one that sidelined goaltender Connor Hellebuyck for three weeks.
The Jets have not set a return timeline, and Miller’s status will be reassessed weekly.
