Kawhi Leonard will miss the final two games of the Clippers' road trip due to a left knee contusion, the team announced. He did not play in Friday’s win over the Raptors and is returning to Los Angeles for evaluation. The injury dates to a Jan. 10 game against the Pistons, and he has had lingering discomfort. Despite the issue, Leonard averaged 32.7 points in the Clippers’ 12-2 stretch since Dec. 20. He is listed as day-to-day and will be reassessed ahead of the team’s home game against the Lakers on Thursday. Leonard has played in 30 games this season, averaging 28.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.2 steals. He previously missed 10 games this season due to ankle and foot issues.
