Hartlepool RNLI launched its all-weather lifeboat 'John Sharp' and inshore lifeboat 'Solihull' at 9:45 p.m. following a coastguard alert.
The woman, suffering from hypothermia, was found in the water and brought aboard the lifeboat, where she received medical care before being transferred to a hospital.
