Through his associate Dilnoor, Punjabi singer B Praak reported that he received a death threat from a caller posing as Arju Bishnoi of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The caller demanded ₹10 crore within a week or face dire consequences. On January 6, a foreign number left a voicemail threatening to harm B Praak and anyone connected to him. Mohali police are looking into the calls and analyzing the evidence after Dilnoor filed a complaint. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is being investigated because of its history of violence and extortion. The case is still pending.
