Marie Curie’s 40th Daffodil Appeal seeks £40,000 in Somerset and Dorset to fund end-of-life care, with volunteers needed Feb–Apr.

Marie Curie is launching its 40th Great Daffodil Appeal in Somerset, seeking £20,000 to fund end-of-life care and support for people with terminal illnesses and their families. Volunteers are needed from February to April to distribute daffodil pins in towns like Minehead, Chard, and Frome, with each shift lasting a few hours. All volunteers receive training and a yellow hat. Funds support hospice care, overnight nursing, and free helpline and webchat services. The campaign aims to raise £40,000 across Somerset and Dorset.
