The first applicant to be given a follow-up meeting is former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, who is in Atlanta for a second interview with the Falcons as they look for a new head coach. Before being fired following an 8–26 record over the previous two seasons, Stefanski, a two-time NFL Coach of the Year, guided the Browns to two postseason trips and their only postseason victory since 1999 in 2021. Additionally, he has conducted interviews with the Dolphins, Titans, Ravens, and Raiders. Stefanski has studied defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, and the Falcons are reportedly interested in keeping him. Matt Ryan, the team's new president and fellow Philadelphia native, may be able to help. Stefanski is anticipated to meet with the Titans on Sunday while preparing a possible coaching staff.
