Idaho’s fall 2025 reading scores show 57% of K–3 students reading at or above grade level, a 2.4% drop from last year, attributed to a more rigorous, computer-based, verbal-response test replacing the previous IStation format.
The new Idaho Reading Indicator, administered by Amira, uses AI scoring and is adaptive, with results not comparable to prior years.
