In a Prime Video series based on the Tomb Raider video game franchise, Sophie Turner has been revealed as the new Lara Croft. The first image features her wearing the character's recognizable green tank top, black shorts, red-tinted glasses, and gun holsters. Sigourney Weaver and Jason Isaacs will play important roles in the series, which is being produced by Amazon MGM Studios and created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. It will examine Lara's beginnings. The project is a part of a larger revival of the franchise, which also includes upcoming video games, but no release date has been set.
