Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has proposed a $907 million infrastructure plan for 2026, focusing on maintaining existing state infrastructure and funding projects in water, transportation, public safety, affordable housing, and outdoor recreation.
The plan allocates $316 million for state and higher education facilities, $172 million for water and highway improvements, $149 million for public safety upgrades including Capitol security and law enforcement facilities, $99 million for housing and economic development, and $52 million for environmental and recreation projects.
