A man was seriously hurt in a crash between a horse-drawn buggy and a Chevy Tahoe on Wisconsin highway, snow conditions present.
A horse-drawn buggy driver was seriously injured in a crash with a westbound Chevy Tahoe on Highway 33 in the Town of Sheldon, Wisconsin, around 8:10 a.m. on January 15, 2026, near Opera Road.
The collision occurred as the buggy turned into a driveway on the south side of the road, and the SUV was passing it.
The driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, and Highway 33 was closed for about an hour.
Snowy conditions were present, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
No other injuries were reported, and the identities of those involved have not been released.
