Kinetic New Zealand’s Go Bus has expanded its South Island operations by acquiring Golden Bay Coachlines, effective January 19, 2026, preserving existing drivers, vehicles, and depots under the Go Bus brand.
The move ensures continued service for 19 school bus routes, scheduled trips between Tākaka and Nelson, and charter services in the Golden Bay and Nelson–Tasman region.
Go Bus, now operating over 2,000 vehicles across 39 depots nationwide, maintains its commitment to local decision-making, job security, and reliable transport, while expanding its fleet of zero-emission buses.
