Former MP Bung Moktar Radin acquitted posthumously in corruption case tied to RM2.8M bribery allegation.
The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court has acquitted the late former Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin of three corruption charges tied to a RM2.8 million bribery allegation linked to a 2015 Felcra investment. The prosecution dropped charges after his death in December 2025, leading to a posthumous acquittal. His widow, Zizie Izette Abdul Samad, continues to face three graft charges related to the same case and is set to testify in March. The court will determine her liability, while the original RM100,000 bail for Bung Moktar will be returned.
