Organized during the Sri Narkadal Kudi Karuppannasamy Temple festival, the event featured 750 bulls and 500 tamers in 10 rounds, with a car and two-wheeler as top prizes.
Enhanced safety measures, spectator facilities, and a dedicated bull release point were included.
All participants received veshtis and sarees.
The arena, inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, fulfills a long-standing local request to upgrade the venue.
