A historic Oxfordshire restaurant, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, will be demolished and rebuilt to reopen in 2027.
A historic section of Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire will be demolished as part of a redevelopment project following its temporary closure on January 1, 2026.
The two Michelin-starred property, which has held its rating for 41 consecutive years, is being transformed into a world-class retreat with changes including the removal of a 1908 kitchen extension, modifications to walls, floors, skylights, and doors, and the addition of a roof access hatch.
The project, led by Lichfields on behalf of Blanc Restaurants Ltd, aims to preserve the property’s legacy while modernizing its offerings.
It is expected to reopen in summer 2027.
Planning applications are open for public review until February 5, 2026.
