Formation Metals expanded drilling at its Quebec gold project to 14,000 metres after strong early results showed thick, consistent mineralization.
Formation Metals has expanded its Phase 1 drill program at the N2 Gold Project in Quebec to 14,000 metres, following strong early results from 13 holes totaling 3,879 metres.
Key holes, including N2-25-008 and N2-25-011, returned extensive mineralized intervals up to 208.8 and 166.8 metres, with several exceeding 70 metres in width.
Mineralization started within the first 25 metres in six holes, and multiple holes showed over 80 metres of cumulative mineralization.
The project holds a historic gold resource of about 871,000 ounces.
The company is conducting a fully funded 30,000-metre campaign with C$12.3 million in working capital and no debt, supported by a 2025–2026 exploration budget of roughly $8.1 million including tax credits.
Management noted consistent, thick mineralization, indicating potential for a large-scale open-pit resource.
Final assay results are pending.
