Diesel has named Andrea Rigogliosi as its new CEO, ending a two-year leadership gap following Eraldo Poletto’s departure in February 2023. Rigogliosi, most recently global head of retail and commercial at Miu Miu, brings experience from roles at Fendi, Dior, and L’Oréal Luxe. His appointment comes as Diesel reported a 3.2% revenue increase in 2024, driven by a repositioning strategy under creative director Glenn Martens, which has emphasized a Gen Z-focused identity and direct-to-consumer growth, including 16 new stores opened globally. Despite this, OTB Group’s overall turnover declined 4.4% in 2024. Rigogliosi will report to OTB CEO Ubaldo Minelli.
