Cameroon's football chief Eto’o banned 4 games and fined $20K for misconduct in AFCON loss to Morocco.
Samuel Eto’o, president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, has been banned for four matches and fined $20,000 by CAF for misconduct during Cameroon’s 2-0 loss to Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final.
CAF cited violations of sportsmanship and conduct rules, including an angry gesture toward officials, and confirmed it is investigating player-related violence.
The suspension is effective immediately and does not affect Cameroon’s tournament participation.
FECAFOOT has criticized the decision and plans to appeal, while Morocco advances to face Senegal in the final.
