Bob Dyce, fired by Ottawa, joins Hamilton as special teams co-ordinator and assistant head coach.
Bob Dyce, recently fired by the Ottawa Redblacks, has been hired by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as special teams co-ordinator and assistant head coach, a return to a role he values.
The move follows a call from head coach Scott Milanovich, who previously considered Dyce for a position years ago.
Dyce, who had a 18-39-1 record as Ottawa’s interim head coach from 2022 to 2025, will work alongside James Tuck, replacing Dennis McKnight.
Milanovich highlighted Dyce’s experience and leadership as key to rebuilding team stability.
Dyce said he was open to a break but welcomed the opportunity, with his Hamilton salary offsetting payments owed by Ottawa.
