The 2026 Zayed Sustainability Prize, awarded during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, recognized global innovators in health, food, energy, water, climate action, and youth-led projects.
Winners include Jade (UAE) for AI-powered neurodevelopmental screening used in 450 institutions across 179 countries, N&E Innovations (Singapore) for biodegradable packaging from food waste, BASE Foundation (Switzerland) for low-carbon cooling services in 68 countries, Stattus4 (Brazil) for AI-driven leak detection saving billions of liters daily, Build up Nepal for eco-bricks reducing coal use, and six high schools from Canada, Uganda, Jordan, Türkiye, the Maldives, and Thailand advancing sustainability through youth projects.
The prize, now in its 18th year, received a record 7,761 applications from 173 countries and has impacted over 411 million lives through 128 past winners.
