A yellow file folder with family mementos—photos, golf scorecards, postcards, and a 1940s plane ticket—discovered in 1995 at Tulsa County Assessor’s Office has been returned to descendants after a 30-year search.
Tammy Ritter, who found it and kept it through her 31-year career, teamed with supervisor Mark Liotta to trace the items to Mary Louise Evers’ family.

Ritter, retiring in 2026, called the reunion a meaningful closure.
