Police in the Australian Capital Territory have warned the public after several pipe bombs were found on paths near Lake Ginninderra in Belconnen, with incidents reported on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Bomb disposal units destroyed the devices, which were identical in appearance—silver, pipe-shaped, with screw tops—and located between Joynton Smith Drive and Ginninderra Drive.
Authorities confirmed no further devices are believed to be in Canberra, but urged vigilance, especially among parents, and advised not to touch suspicious objects.
