Mikaela Shiffrin won her 70th World Cup slalom title and 107th career victory in Flachau, Austria, finishing first in a night race with a combined time of 1:50.52, edging teammate Paula Moltzan by 0.41 seconds.
Moltzan secured her first slalom podium of the season and eighth career podium, while Austria’s Katharina Truppe took third.
The result marked the first American 1-2 finish in slalom since 1971.
Shiffrin leads both the slalom and overall World Cup standings ahead of the Milan Cortina Winter Games starting February 6.
