Anna Ouyang Moench has been named showrunner for Prime Video’s “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” Season 2, succeeding Francesca Sloane. The acclaimed writer, known for “Severance” and “Beef,” will lead the show’s creative direction, writing and executive producing. The series, starring Donald Glover and Maya Erskine as a married couple entangled in espionage, continues its blend of drama, humor, and emotional depth. Mark Eydelshteyn joins the cast as Mr. Smith. Production is by New Regency and Amazon MGM Studios.
