A 16-year-old student, Eleanor Lydia Hague, died in a December 1, 2025, crash at a Tadcaster junction involving a minibus and a car. The inquest, opened January 13, 2026, confirmed she suffered fatal torso injuries. Nine teenagers were on the minibus; another girl sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
